In June we introduced TOPCORE BOOSTER, a new generation of our additives for dextrin adhesives. We did not launch it with a list of big numbers. We launched it with a simple offer: test a sample under your own conditions, and decide based on what you see on your line.
Over the summer, the first manufacturers did exactly that. BOOSTER went into their recipes, ran on their lines, and proved itself in the conditions that matter: real paper, real speeds, real production.
Why a new generation
Many of our customers have used adhesive additives before, including ours. And some of them will tell you, fairly, that earlier additives did not always deliver the effect that was promised.
We took that seriously. BOOSTER is not a new label on an old product. It is a stronger additive, and it comes with a different way of working: we do not ask you to trust a brochure. We ask you to test it.
What TOPCORE BOOSTER does
TOPCORE BOOSTER is a performance additive for dextrin adhesives used in the production of paper tubes, paper cores, protective edges and honeycomb panels.
Added at 2–4% of your adhesive recipe, it changes the rheology and drying behaviour of the dextrin batch. In practice, that means:
- Faster initial tack: up to 50% faster, so shorter hold times and better line throughput.
- No equipment changes: it works with your existing mixing station, and the rest of your process stays as it is.
- Flexible supply: from lab-scale samples to bulk shipments, delivered worldwide.
Two ways to add it
Every production is different, so BOOSTER can be used in two ways:
1. Into ready liquid adhesive
Add BOOSTER directly to the liquid adhesive you already use, following our recommended instructions.
2. During in-house mixing
If you prepare your own adhesive, add BOOSTER during mixing according to the recommended sequence.

40% water / 35% CaCO₃ / 25% dextrin

40% water / 40% CaCO₃ / 18% dextrin / 2% BOOSTER
The adjusted mix maintains bond performance at the same production speed. Your recipe will be different — that is exactly why we start every collaboration with a sample.
Is BOOSTER right for your line?
BOOSTER is a good fit if you:
- produce paper tubes, paper cores, protective edges or honeycomb panels,
- use a dextrin or starch-based adhesive,
- prepare adhesive in-house or work with ready liquid adhesive,
- have a lab or QA process that can validate a small sample before full production use.
