DextrinBond: Eco-friendly binders that reduce the environmental impact of particleboard production.
The goal of the project is to develop innovative eco-friendly binders for the production of particleboard materials, with the aim of reducing the carbon footprint and eliminating the health risks associated with the use of urea-formaldehyde (UF) binders. The main outputs of the project will be a utility model, prototypes, and validated technology for a bio-based replacement of current resins in both powder and liquid forms, optimized for industrial applications. The project is being carried out in collaboration with Brno University of Technology. Co-financed by the European Union.

Research and Development of Automated Mixing Equipment for Eco-Friendly Dextrin Adhesives
The project is supported by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic under the TREND Program, funded by the EU as part of the National Recovery Plan
The goal of the project is to develop an innovative mixing system for the production of eco-friendly dextrin-based adhesive that is not harmful to the environment. This adhesive will serve as an alternative to commonly used chemical-based adhesives in industries such as construction and paper manufacturing, and is gradually making inroads into the textile industry as well. The equipment will be fully automated and will require minimal operator intervention, thereby minimizing human error. The developed equipment will follow Industry 4.0 concepts in combination with a clear focus on RIS3 strategies and will enable the efficient and rapid production of an environmentally friendly yet high-quality product that helps reduce the industry’s negative impact on the environment.
